HyAccess Cartridge for Powermax SYNC and Adapter
To add to the broad application lineup and versatility of Powermax® systems, Hypertherm Associates introduces HyAccess™ cartridges for Powermax SYNC®. The launch of the HyAccess cartridge means Powermax SYNC customers are now able to use the full breadth of the Powermax specialty consumables family of products. HyAccess cartridges are available in three versions: Drag cut, Gouge, and for the first time, Mechanized cut. The mechanized cutting HyAccess cartridges are designed with robotic cutting applications in mind which is a growing market for plasma.
Like all Hypertherm cartridges for Powermax SYNC, the HyAccess cartridge is a single-piece consumable. The cartridge simplifies use of the plasma system by eliminating common consumable selection and installation mistakes often caused by multiple-piece consumable stackups. When using the HyAccess cartridge with the SmartSYNC torch on Powermax SYNC, the three components automatically set the system’s amperage, air pressure, and mode to ensure the best possible outcomes. In addition, the HyAccess cartridge is equipped with RFID technology that records cutting data that can be read from the power supply or with a cartridge reader (part number 528083). This data can be used by operators to better understand their cutting performance.
For Powermax65, Powermax85, and Powermax105 users, the HyAccess cartridge can be used on
their systems by installing the cartridge adapter (part number 428951). The HyAccess cartridge will
provide the same excellent performance as HyAccess stack-up consumables, while offering the
ease of use of a single-piece
Since Hypertherm Associates introduced HyAccess consumables, customers in a wide variety of
industries have used them to increase the versatility of their Powermax systems. HyAccess
consumables and cartridges provide extra length and a narrower profile for cutting and gouging in
hard-to-reach places, enabling the user to complete jobs with plasma instead of less efficient tools.
HyAccess cartridges will be available to order starting on April 11, 2023.
HyAccess extended consumables for Powermax systems
Patented HyAccess™ consumables extend approximately 76 mm (3") beyond standard Powermax consumables to provide the extra reach needed when cutting or gouging in hard to reach or confined spaces.
HyAccess’s unique consumable design allows for better visibility and accessibility when working on challenging locations such as corners and channels.
