WF ECO WALL MOUNTED FILTERED UNIT C/W FAN 1 PH MOTOR
Plymoth WF-Eco Wall Mounted Filtered Unit with Fan — 1 Phase
Overview
The Plymoth WF-Eco Wall Mounted Filtered Unit is a self-contained, jet-pulse cleaned filtration system for clearing welding smoke and fine grinding dust from a workshop. Rated up to 99.9% filtration effectiveness, it draws contaminated air in, filters it, and returns clean, purified air to the room without loss of heat — a straightforward way to keep a fixed workstation's air quality under control without ducting fume outside.
This 1-phase (240V) version, P-549, suits smaller workshops or single-machine setups running off standard power, moving 1000m³/hr through a 0.75kW motor. A 3-phase equivalent (P-547) is also available for higher-draw sites — see the comparison below.
Fitted with a hanging, retractable Flexi Extraction Arm (sold separately), the WF-Eco captures fume at the source — the most effective way to protect welders from airborne contaminants and a practical step toward meeting AS/NZS ISO 21904 and Australia's current welding fume Workplace Exposure Standards (WES).

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the WF-Eco clean the filter? It uses a built-in Jet Pulse compressed-air cleaning system that clears the filter cartridge within minutes, without needing to remove or replace it. Dust is simply emptied from the bin via the front door.
Does the WF-Eco need to be ducted outside? No — filtered air is returned directly to the room with no loss of heat, unlike systems that duct fume outdoors. It can also be connected to a central extraction system if required, using the included adapter.
What's the difference between the P-549 and P-547? They're the same unit — same 0.75kW motor, same 1,000 m³/hr airflow — but P-549 runs on single-phase 240V power and P-547 is the 3-phase version, for sites where 3-phase supply is available or preferred.
Does the WF-Eco come with an extraction arm? No — the WF-Eco unit is supplied on its own with a mounting bracket and adapter. A hanging, retractable Flexi Extraction Arm is sold separately and screws directly to the underside of the filter housing.
What's the air movement rate on the P-549? 1,000 m³/hr, driven by a 0.75kW, 1-phase, 240V motor.
