UNIMIG RAZOR 330 AC/DC

Part No: U11021

UNIMIG RAZOR TIG 330 AC/DC Welder (U11021)

The UNIMIG RAZOR TIG 330 AC/DC is a 330-amp, three-phase AC/DC TIG and stick welder built for professional aluminium, stainless steel and exotic alloy fabrication. With high-frequency ignition, three selectable AC waveforms, mixed AC/DC output and a 30% duty cycle at full 330A output, it's engineered for high-end fabrication shops, marine builders and industrial engineering workshops that TIG weld all day, every day.

At QWS, every RAZOR TIG 330 is built, tested and tagged in our Bulimba workshop before it reaches your floor — set up with your torch, consumables and gas configuration so it's ready to strike an arc from day one.

Why Fabricators Choose the RAZOR TIG 330 AC/DC

Weld every metal in the workshop. Run AC for aluminium, magnesium and zinc alloys, then switch to DC for mild steel, stainless, copper, silicon bronze and titanium. One machine covers the full material mix of a modern fabrication or marine engineering shop.

Serious amperage with a real duty cycle. The RAZOR TIG 330 delivers 10–330A in TIG mode with a duty cycle of 30% @ 330A, 60% @ 233A and 100% @ 181A (at 40°C) — enough sustained output to single-pass aluminium up to 16mm without waiting on thermal cutouts.

Three AC waveforms, fully customisable arcs. Switch between Sine, Square and Triangle waveforms to change arc character, bead profile and penetration. Run Sine for a smooth, quiet arc with good wetting; Square for a focused, penetrative arc; Triangle for lower heat input on thin aluminium sheet.

Mixed AC/DC for thick aluminium. The MIX ARC function combines the oxide-cleaning action of AC with the penetration and arc force of DC in a single weld cycle. The result: faster travel speeds, stronger fusion on thick sections and a quicker, more responsive puddle on cold workpieces.

HD backlit control panel. Parameters are laid out on a high-definition backlit screen with clear numbering and simple icons, so dialling in pulse, waveform and sequence settings is fast — even for operators new to the machine.

Foot pedal ready. Adjust amperage on the fly without breaking torch movement. Wired and wireless UNIMIG foot control options plug straight in, and the machine is water-cooler compatible for high-amperage production work.

Full MMA capability built in. 10–270A stick output with Arc Force, Hot Start, Anti-Stick and VRD makes it a genuine dual-purpose machine for site repairs, cast iron and structural work using 2.5–4.0mm electrodes.

Built to survive the workshop. IGBT inverter technology, IP23S protection rating, Class H insulation and Smart Fan cooling (which only runs when needed, pulling less dust through the machine) — all backed by UNIMIG's 5-year warranty.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the UNIMIG RAZOR TIG 330 AC/DC used for? The RAZOR TIG 330 AC/DC is a professional three-phase TIG and stick welder designed for high-end aluminium and stainless steel fabrication, marine engineering and industrial maintenance. AC output handles aluminium, magnesium and zinc alloys, while DC covers mild steel, stainless, copper, silicon bronze and titanium.

How thick can the RAZOR TIG 330 weld aluminium? In TIG mode it welds material from 1mm up to 16mm. The mixed AC/DC function is particularly effective on thick aluminium sections, combining AC's oxide cleaning with DC's deeper penetration for faster travel speeds and stronger fusion.

Is the RAZOR TIG 330 single phase or three phase? It's a 415V three-phase machine, with a 32A supply plug recommended. It's also generator friendly, requiring a minimum 20kVA generator for site work. If your workshop only has single-phase power, talk to QWS about single-phase AC/DC TIG alternatives.

What's the duty cycle of the UNIMIG RAZOR TIG 330? At 40°C ambient, the TIG duty cycle is 30% at the full 330A, 60% at 233A and 100% at 181A — meaning it can run continuously at 181 amps, which suits most production TIG work on aluminium and stainless.

Does the RAZOR TIG 330 do stick welding? Yes. It delivers 10–270A in MMA mode with Arc Force, Hot Start, Anti-Stick and VRD, running 2.5–4.0mm electrodes on mild steel, stainless and cast iron up to 16mm thick.

Can I use a foot pedal with the RAZOR TIG 330? Yes — the machine is foot pedal ready, with both wired and wireless UNIMIG foot control options available. It's also compatible with the UNIMIG water cooler for extended high-amperage TIG work.

What warranty comes with the UNIMIG RAZOR TIG 330? UNIMIG backs the RAZOR TIG 330 AC/DC with a 5-year warranty. Every machine purchased from QWS is also built, tested and tagged in our Brisbane workshop before delivery.
