KISWEL K700 HT HARD FACING WIRE 1.2MM 20KG ROLL

by WIA
Part No: K700HT/12

Premium Martensitic Hardfacing Wire for Extreme Wear & Abrasion Resistance

The KISWEL K-700HT is a high-performance, gas-shielded flux-cored (FCAW/MAG) hardfacing wire engineered to deposit a durable martensitic weld overlay on components subject to severe metal-to-metal wear and heavy abrasion. Supplied as a 1.2mm diameter wire on a convenient 20kg spool, it's a go-to consumable for maintenance welders, fabricators, and heavy equipment repair shops looking to extend the service life of high-wear parts.

Key Features

  • Delivers a weld deposit hardness of approximately Hv 600–800, ideal for extreme wear applications
  • Compatible with 100% CO2 or CO2/Argon mixed shielding gas, offering stable arc performance across a wide welding current range
  • Martensitic weld metal structure delivers excellent resistance to heavy abrasion and impact wear
  • Smooth, spatter-free arc characteristics for cleaner deposits and less post-weld cleanup
  • Convenient 20kg spool format minimizes downtime on long production or maintenance runs

Standards JIS / KS YF3B-C-700

Typical Applications

Ideal for rebuilding and hardfacing components exposed to heavy abrasive and impact wear, including:

  • Crusher hammers, ore chutes, dozer blades, ripper teeth, and bucket lips
  • Crane wheels, blower blades, and dredge parts
  • Rollers, idlers, and crane wheels in mining, quarrying, and earthmoving equipment
  • Wear plates and general metal-to-metal wear surfaces in heavy industrial machinery

Welding Notes

To minimize cracking risk in the hard, martensitic deposit, proper preheat and interpass temperature control (around 200°C) should be observed, especially on thicker sections or multi-pass builds.

Best For: Mining & quarrying equipment, construction & earthmoving machinery, cement plants, and heavy fabrication shops needing long-lasting wear protection on high-impact, high-abrasion components.
