No additional program purchases required — all programs are usable from day one.
DuraTorque 4x4 Wire Drive — Consistent Feeding at Any Output
Both X3 HD200 and HD300 wire feeders feature the DuraTorque 4x4 four-roll wire drive — delivering exceptional wire feeding consistency and grip across all wire types, diameters, and cable lengths. Reliable wire delivery at up to 420 A (X3S) or 450 A (X3P) is essential for stable arc performance; the DuraTorque 4x4 is engineered to deliver it consistently.
Dual-Wall Wire Feeder Cabinet — Built for Industrial Abuse
The X3 HD300 wire feeder cabinet features dual-wall construction in impact-resistant plastic specifically engineered to absorb the knocks, drops, and vibrations of heavy industrial fabrication environments — shipyards, structural steel workshops, maintenance sites, and beyond. The X3 FastMig doesn't just look tough. It is.
Safe Crane Lift — Shipyard and Elevated Work Ready
The X3 HD300 wire feeder is rated for safe crane lifting from its handle with the full weight of the feeder, torch, cables, and wire spool supported. Water hoses and cable connectors are outside the casing for fast, tool-free torch package changes at height.
High-Output Performance — 420 A (X3S) or 450 A (X3P) at 60% Duty Cycle
The X3S delivers 420 A at 60% duty cycle (350 A continuous); the X3P delivers 450 A at 60% duty cycle (380 A continuous). Both are built to sustain heavy production output over full working shifts — meeting the demands of structural steel, pressure vessel, shipbuilding, and high-deposition production welding.
Generator Compatible — Full Output on Site
All X3 FastMig power sources carry the G (generator-compatible) rating, with a recommended minimum generator output of 25 kVA. The same industrial MIG/MAG performance available in a fixed workshop is fully available on site from a generator.
Marathon Pack Capable
The X3 HD300 wire feeder supports marathon pack (bulk drum) wire configurations for uninterrupted continuous production welding — eliminating spool changeover downtime on high-volume, long-run welding operations.
Cable Calibration Without Sensing Cable
The X3 FastMig supports welding cable calibration without a separate sensing cable — maintaining accurate arc voltage display regardless of cable length — an important quality assurance step for site operations where cable configurations change between jobs.
Optional Remote Controls
The HR53 wireless hand remote (with display) and GRe50 on-torch remote are available as optional accessories, allowing welding current and program adjustment from the torch position without returning to the wire feeder — maximising arc-on time in large bays, long cable runs, and positional work.
