What Is the Kemppi SuperSnake GTX WATER 15m Package?

The Kemppi SuperSnake GTX WATER 15m Package (P405GTX) is a synchronized MIG/MAG sub-feeder system that extends the effective welding reach to 15 metres from the primary wire feeder using a 50mm² water-cooled cable package. It is the water-cooled equivalent of the P401GTX — designed specifically for X5 FastMig and Master M water-cooled system configurations where sustained high-output production welding and cooled torch performance are required at distance.

The water-cooled cable carries cooling water from the primary water cooling system through the full 15m cable run to the water-cooled torch at the work end, maintaining active torch cooling throughout the weld regardless of distance from the machine.

The package includes the SuperSnake GTX motor drive unit, 15m water-cooled 50mm² cable, and the metal protection cage as standard.

Compatible with X5 FastMig wire feeders in water-cooled configuration (with SuperSnake Kit X5 Feeder X5702030000 installed) and Master M 353, 355, and 358 machines in water-cooled configurations.

Extended Torch Consumable Life at Distance Active water cooling at the torch end maintains lower contact tip and nozzle operating temperatures throughout the weld — extending consumable life and reducing changeover frequency on high-volume production runs, even at 15m from the primary system.

Synchronized Twin-Drive Wire Feed The compact, quick-release twin-drive mechanism synchronizes wire delivery with the primary wire feeder across the full 15m cable run — critical in water-cooled production configurations where arc interruptions from inconsistent wire delivery are unacceptable.

On-Hand Parameter Adjustment Wire feed speed, voltage, and synergic AUTO or manual modes are all accessible at the GTX unit at the work location — essential when the work point is 15m from the primary feeder across ship structure, large vessels, or industrial plant.

Clear LED Digital Display Welding voltage, amperage, wire feed speed, process, and polarity are displayed clearly at the torch end. Post-weld data retained for approximately 30 seconds.

Metal Protection Cage — Included The metal cage secures the water-cooled cable package, hoses, and connectors, enables overhead suspension, and supports safe crane lifting with a 4-leg hoist strap. Particularly valuable in water-cooled configurations where hose integrity must be maintained through confined access points.

Safety Isolation Switch ON/OFF safety lock switch prevents accidental arc activation while repositioning or during water circuit connection/disconnection at the work location.

Wire Inch and Gas Test Buttons Pre-weld setup and gas flow verification at the work location without requiring a second operator at the primary machine.

Standard Euro Gun Connector Accepts any standard Euro-connected water-cooled MIG/MAG torch — no proprietary connector or adapter required.
