What Is the Kemppi SuperSnake GTX GAS 15m Package?
The Kemppi SuperSnake GTX GAS 15m Package (P401GTX) is a synchronized MIG/MAG sub-feeder system that extends the effective welding reach to 15 metres from the primary wire feeder using a 50mm² gas-cooled cable package. It is the step up from the 10m P400GTX — providing the additional reach needed for larger vessel interiors, wider structural steel spans, and plant maintenance environments where 10m falls short of the work.
The GTX motor drive unit provides a compact, quick-release twin-drive secondary feed mechanism at the torch end, synchronized with the primary wire feeder. The package includes the SuperSnake GTX motor drive unit, 15m gas-cooled 50mm² cable, and the metal protection cage as standard.
Compatible with X5 FastMig wire feeders (with SuperSnake Kit X5 Feeder X5702030000 installed) and Master M 353, 355, and 358 machines in gas-cooled configurations.

Clear LED Digital Display Welding voltage, amperage, wire feed speed, process, and polarity displayed clearly at the torch end in all lighting conditions. Data retained for approximately 30 seconds post-weld.
Metal Protection Cage — Included The metal cage combines, secures, and supports the cable package and torch, enables overhead suspension of the SuperSnake, and supports safe crane lifting with a 4-leg hoist strap at the cage corners.
Safety Isolation Switch ON/OFF safety lock switch prevents accidental arc activation while the operator is repositioning across the 15m cable run — an important safety control for large-structure and confined-space applications.
Wire Inch and Gas Test Buttons Setup and gas flow verification at the work location without a second operator at the primary feeder — practical over 15m where communication back to the feeder end is not always straightforward.
Standard Euro Gun Connector Accepts any standard Euro-connected MIG/MAG torch — compatible with the full range of Euro torches in your workshop fleet.
