KEMPER CARTRIDGE FILTER WALL UNIT 4M ARM
Kemper Cartridge Filter Wall-Mounted Extraction Unit
The Kemper Cartridge Filter Wall-Mounted Extraction Unit is a heavy-duty, continuous-operation fume extractor built for fixed welding stations that run all day, every day. Where most stationary extractors need their filter swapped out periodically, this unit uses a KemTex® ePTFE membrane filter cartridge with automatic, compressed-air-driven self-cleaning — so it keeps working through the shift instead of losing suction as the filter loads up with dust.
Separation efficiency stays above 99.5% even on ultra-fine particles below 0.1 µm, which is why this unit carries W3/IFA certification for high-alloy and stainless steel welding fume — the carcinogenic nano-particle classification that Australia's shift to Workplace Exposure Limits (WES-to-WEL, effective 1 December 2026) is putting under increasing scrutiny. It mounts straight to a wall or column, taking zero floor space, and is available as a single-arm or twin-arm unit — the twin-arm version has integral dampers so two welders can work simultaneously or alternately with independently adjustable extraction.
Available arm configurations: 2m, 3m, 4m, 5m, 6m or 7m, in either flexible hose-style or rigid metal-tube arm — pick the length that reaches your furthest work point without slack, and flexible or rigid depending on how often the arm needs repositioning versus staying set in one position.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What's the difference between this unit and the MaxiFil Stationary? Both are wall-mounted, but this Cartridge Filter unit uses a self-cleaning ePTFE cartridge designed for continuous, non-stop operation without needing to change filters mid-shift. The MaxiFil uses a large safe-change disposable filter cassette instead — well suited to medium, regular use, but not built for the same relentless duty cycle.
Can I run two welders off one unit? Yes, with the twin-arm version — each arm has its own damper, so extraction can be adjusted independently per station whether both welders are working at once or alternating.
Does arm length affect suction performance? Longer arms mean more duct run and slightly more resistance, so match arm length to actual reach needed rather than over-specifying — QWS can advise on the right length for your bay layout.
