HYPERTHERM POWERMAX 45XP/65/85/105 65A NOZZLE

The Hypertherm Powermax 65/85/105 Nozzle 65A is specially designed for the Hypertherm Powermax 65 plasma cutter.

The nozzle - with plasma cutter electrodes - helps heat gas into plasma. Powered plasma cutter electrodes and nozzles touch the metal, causing a spark to form and heat gas into plasma. The Hypertherm Powermax 65/85/105 Nozzle 65A directs the flow of plasma for precision cutting. Nozzles can be damaged in a number of ways. Touching the metal, piercing beyond limits or cutting too fast can damage the nozzle from the outside. For the most part, you can pierce up to 35% of the rated thickness of your system. Being too aggressive when piercing can cause immediate damage to the nozzle. Take special care to keep the correct distance between nozzle and the cut. Damaged nozzles should be checked often and – if needed-- replaced right away.
