Powered by a 1kW AC motor on standard 230V single-phase power, the TA100 pulls fume-laden air down through the work surface at 7 metres per second, capturing airborne particulates before they spread through the workshop. A three-stage filtration system — G4 prefilter, mesh spark filter, and cassette-type main filter — keeps the unit running efficiently while protecting operators from harmful welding and grinding fume exposure.

The TA100 is designed for welding and light grinding work. It is not recommended for heavier grinding, cutting, plasma or oxy-fuel cutting, or gouging — for these higher-spark, higher-dust applications, the ALLCLEAR® TA400 heavy-duty downdraft table is the better choice. The TA100 is also not suitable for extracting aluminium dust, oil mist, gases, or water vapour.
