Hyundai SM-70 is a solid MIG wire designed for all-position welding using a short-circuit transfer method. It offers deep penetration and high deposition efficiency, making it suitable for high-performance welding tasks.
Applications:
- Ideal for butt and fillet welding of steel structures such as:
- Vehicles
- Machinery
- Bridges
Notes on Usage:
- Recommended shielding gases: Welding-grade CO2 or a mixture of Argon + 15-25% CO2.
- Ensure a shielding gas flow rate of approximately 25 liters per minute.
- Use a windscreen in windy environments to maintain shielding gas effectiveness.
- Maintain the following tip-to-base metal distances for optimal performance:
- 6-15 mm for welding currents under 250A.
- 15-25 mm for welding currents above 250A.
