Rex-Cut Abrasives is the oldest and primary manufacturer of cotton fiber abrasive grinding and finishing products in the world. Since 1928, we have been manufacturing a non-woven cotton fabric, uniquely impregnated with abrasive grit. This “impregnating” process, originally invented by our founder Edward Hurst, has been refined over time and continues to comprise the base of our specialized cotton product abrasive line.

As of 2008, Rex-Cut became 100% owned by its employees! Our loyal, hardworking employees now have a reason to be even more invested, and take great pride in the quality of our products and the level of service that our company offers.
