The WELDMAX ATEX-Compliant Fume & Dust Extractor is engineered for industrial environments where flammable or explosive dusts and vapours pose a fire or explosion risk. Built to CE II 3DST1 classification and independently tested in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX), this horizontal cartridge filter unit is suitable for the extraction and filtration of welding fumes and sanding dust from non-metallic products used in mechanical industry processes.
Important: This unit is rated for organic and inorganic dust — it is NOT suitable for metallic dust. Please confirm your application's dust type before ordering, or contact us to discuss the right extraction solution for combustible metal dust.
The WELDMAX ATEX range is a true plug & play solution requiring no complex installation, and is available in 4, 6, and 9 cartridge configurations to suit different airflow and workshop size requirements, with both Indoor and Outdoor variants, and an optional TRU single-hopper configuration for easy, quick discharge of filtered dust.

- Explosion Venting Panel – Fitted as standard for safe pressure relief; Indoor units include an INDOOR-VENT explosion venting system in place of external venting.
- Double-Reinforced Dust Collection – Heavy-duty collection bins with dust separation grille on the front bin for safe, low-mess disposal.
- Indoor & Outdoor Configurations – Outdoor units are built for external siting (weather protection recommended); Indoor units include a soundproofing plenum and HEPA H13 filter (H14 optional) for safe air return within the building.
- TRU Single-Hopper Option – Combines coarse and fine dust into a single hopper and collection bin for faster, simpler discharge.
