Overview

The Plymoth P-Max Fan (P-012) is a 0.75kW centrifugal extraction fan built to pull smoke, weld fume and light dust away from the point of work. It's the fan half of a source-capture welding fume system — pair it with a Plymoth extraction arm and hood, and it draws contaminated air straight from the welder's breathing zone before it spreads through the workshop. Fitting flexible extraction arms of 160mm or 200mm diameter (1.5–9m length), it's a straightforward way to bring at-source local exhaust ventilation (LEV) into a fabrication shop, school workshop or industrial site — and a practical step toward meeting Safe Work Australia's tightened welding fume Workplace Exposure Standards (WES).

Wall- or pole-mounted, the P-012 is available in 1-phase (240V) or 3-phase (415V) power supply, giving flexibility for sites without 3-phase access.
