Binzel MB EVO PRO 24 MIG Torch – 4m, Air-Cooled
The Binzel MB EVO PRO 24 is a 250 amp air-cooled MIG/MAG torch with a Euro (KZ-2) central connector, built for steady production work on 250-class machines. It's rated at 250A on CO2 and 220A on mixed gases at a 60% duty cycle, running 0.8–1.2mm wire, with technical data stated to EN 60974-7. This 4m version (part no. 012.0372.1) is the most-specified length for general fabrication — enough lead to work around a jig or a larger weldment without shifting the machine.
The MB 24 is the workhorse of the mid-range EVO PRO torches. If your machine sits around the 250A mark and you're welding 1.0–1.2mm wire day in, day out, it's the natural fit: more headroom than the MB 25 (230A), lighter and cheaper to consumable than the MB 36 (320A).
At 4m, cable weight is what you notice by the end of a shift. Binzel's BIKOX® LW cable assembly is up to 34% lighter than the conventional cable, so the extra metre isn't extra drag on your wrist. The two-component handle has a tapered profile, repositioned trigger and ball-joint cable support so the torch stays balanced overhead and out of position, and the internal geometry keeps the grip cooler under load without giving up mechanical strength.
It runs the proven MB 24 wear parts, so if you already stock them nothing changes.

Frequently asked questions
What amperage is the Binzel MB EVO PRO 24 rated to?
250A with CO2 and 220A with mixed shielding gases, both at a 60% duty cycle. The rating is the same across all three lead lengths.
What size machine suits an MB 24 torch?
It's matched to machines in the 200–250A range. If you're regularly welding heavy section at higher output, step up to the MB 36 (320A). For lighter work on a small single-phase unit, look at the MB 25 (230A) or MB 15 (180A).
What's the difference between the MB 24, MB 25 and MB 26?
They're three points on the same scale — 250A, 230A and 270A respectively — all air-cooled, all 0.8–1.2mm wire, all 60% duty. Which one you want usually comes down to which consumables your workshop already runs. They don't share wear parts, so it pays to standardise.
Should I get the 3m, 4m or 5m?
4m is the usual pick for general fabrication — enough reach to move around a job, still short enough to feed reliably. Go to 3m if you're welding close to the machine or running aluminium, and 5m only if you genuinely need the reach.
Does the longer lead affect wire feeding?
It can. Every extra metre adds friction in the liner, which matters most with soft or small-diameter wire. At 4m with 0.8–1.2mm steel wire you shouldn't have issues, provided the liner is the right size, trimmed correctly and kept clean.
Will it fit my welder?
It has a standard Euro connection, so it fits most Euro-style MIG machines and wire feeders, including Kemppi, Fronius, UNIMIG, CIGWELD, WIA and Lincoln units with a Euro outlet.
Is this torch water-cooled?
No, it's air-cooled (gas-cooled). Binzel makes liquid-cooled models in the EVO PRO range from 325A up if you need one.
